GIS Validation Intern

This is a fulltime, summer internship that is not benefit eligible.
To assist teams with administrative office support and help out on project work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learning/Training Event (Internal and Self-Paced)
- Author test cases for validations underway, being led by senior CSV personnel
- Once approved, execute and document the test results per project schedule
- Document deviations, as required

Education and Experience:
Progress towards a college degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
